Our client was an international organization with a minority interest in a U.S. based publicly held corporation. We were engaged by the special committee of the board of directors to negotiate the acquisition of the majority interest on behalf of the minority holder. Acting on behalf of our client, we negotiated a significant reduction in the initial asking price to obtain a majority ownership interest.

Acted as a special advisor to the board of directors during a corporate wide restructuring. During this process, we conducted a worldwide due diligence effort on its operations to provide the board of directors with numerous restructuring scenarios and assisted the company in becoming in compliant with its debt covenants. Additionally, we provided assistance to the board of directors regarding the purchase of the company by a third party.
