About us

I am a Carl Ashton is an accountant and Former Inc 500 CFO that thinks like a business owner. There is a clear difference between someone who thinks like an employee and someone who thinks like a business owner. I have Ownership Eyes.

I am a Former Inc 500 CFO and Franchise top 50 Director of Finance. I understand small businesses from a conceptual point of view, ( having owned 4 Franchises and supervising over 10000 in my life time) end to end and have assisted many companies in starting turning and growing operations. I owned 4 franchises with sales close to 2.8 Million. I have been there in your shoes.

For example a business owner can walk on his retail sales floor with 10 employees on it and see signage missing or a messy floor in 5 seconds. An owner can walk into his distribution warehouse and see product packed incorrectly or the wrong boxes being used in 5 seconds. An owner can walk onto his manufacturing floor and see a manufacturing process taking place inefficiently in 5 seconds. The owner asks himself "Why can't my employees see this?" The answer is simple, because you are the owner and they are employees, you are at stake and they are not. Your employees do not have Ownership Eyes. They have employee eyes

The reason why I know this is because I am a business owner now and have been a business owner for the last 15 years. Having Ownership Eyes and seeing things that employees do not see has been the way I have always functioned.
